Spider Web Brownies for Halloween!

It's not really a secret that I'm totally obsessed with Brownies.  OBSESSED!  This year, Miss Ivy really wanted to have special treats for Halloween.  Challenge accepted!

These are so icredibly easy, I can't even!  First off, the spiders are plastic.  Maybe you could tell by the glitter? ;). So definitely don't eat them.  Everything else is fair game.
Step One: Grab your favorite brownie recipe.  Handle the Heat has the most amazing chewy brownie recipe if you want to check it out.  Now, it's a special touch, but I replace the dutch process cocoa powder with black cocoa powder from King Arthur flour.
Step two, melt 4 ounces of white chocolate in the microwave.  Be really careful here.  Chop up your white chocolate, nuke it for about 30 seconds and then take it out and give it a stir.  Then zap it at 15 second intervals and stir after each one.  Stop when it's mostly melted and wait a second.  It'll get there in a second.
Step 3, pour your melted chocolate into a piping bag or a ziplock baggie and clip off just enough of the tip for a thin stream of white chocolate to move through.  Pipe your straight lines and then connect them by piping your webs.  Let the chocolate set up and then munch your only slightly spooky treat!

The plastic spiders are just a fun extra if you want to play with them.  Just make sure nobody eats them!

I hope your Halloween is all treats and no tricks.  And hopefully, you'll give these sweet guys a try!
